The Nourish satellite Food Club at Spruce Court have recently been taking part in the Start Inspiring Minds 'Bags for Life' campaign.
In 2020, there were 5,224 suicides registered in England and Wales, with 1 in 5 of experiencing suicidal thoughts and 1 in 15 of us attempting to take our own lives.
Start Inspiring Minds say, "Thank you for taking part in our 'Bags of Life' campaign. By distributing our suicide prevention messaged reusable shopping bags and displaying our resources, you are contributing towards a society that makes it the norm to discuss how we are feeling and know that we matter."
We wholeheartedly support this campaign to improve our community's attitudes by increasing public dialogue on suicide.
