23 families blessed by a Box of Hope

Last Wednesday saw 23 families on the Sholver estate in Oldham receive a Box of Hope, full with tins, packets, boxes and bottles of staple food items as well as washing tablets.

This was the 7th delivery since the project, a partnership between Manchester City Mission, Fresh Church and other community partners, started back at Christmas 2020. Families were, once again, delighted to receive these practical expressions of love.

Mary, from Groundbreakers, was recognised by one of the children as she delivered a box to his family. The young boy was thrilled to see her face to face and not just on Youtube! It just goes to show that the online assemblies have been avidly consumed by the children in the schools using them.
