People like you know that there is no such thing as a day off from the Christian walk...

Recently Paul Winter from our Operation Joy team decided to go for a day out and ensure that it was a complete day off and not make contact with anyone on the streets.

Paul picks up the story;

But God had other ideas!

I travelled from home to the bus station by bus, transferred straight to the train station and went to another city.

I returned to the station at Bolton and made my way to the bus station.

There in front of me was M, a lady I had got to know a few years ago and who had struggled with addiction. She was with her friend, J. However, that day M seemed very well and explained that she was a on a script. M said she was really hungry, so I took her to the main outlet and got her a meal. I also mentioned our coffee morning at Bethel Church. Both M and J seemed keen to attend, so I am praying that in time they will come and see what we do.

We're reminded in Ps 139 that there is no place we can go to escape from God, if God has work for you to do then He will find you...
