A food club success story

A key part of the Food Club is our amazing set of volunteers, who go the extra mile to help our members and create a great friendly family atmosphere. This really helps so many of our members who have felt isolated. Chris, pictured above, has kindly allowed us to mention that he was originally homeless as a guest at our Narrowgate Nightshelter and has been successfully rehoused. His journey has not been easy and has included Chris becoming a Christian as well as part of the Narrowgate volunteering team, once he had become resettled. He then went on to help as bank staff alongside his volunteering. Chris particularly with his market trading background is now making a real difference with his dedication and commitment to the Food Club.
