A Home at last - as the body of Christ works together

Cath was recently approached by someone from a local church to see if she might be able to find some housing for a lady, an international student, who was due to give birth shortly and was homeless.

Cath contacted various letting agents with whom she has worked before but also a Christian landlord who known to her.

The landlord was hopeful that she would be able to help.

However, A then went into labour and gave birth. She was worried about what to do as her husband and family were due to join her and she had nowhere for them to be. She took the offer of some temporary accommodation. We kept in touch with her and this week she and her family are now moving into a house provided by R, the Christian landlord.

We will visit to make sure everything is ok and A will also be supported by the church and the landlord.

Isn’t it wonderful to see the body of Christ working together to provide solutions to people’s needs?
