Answered prayer for a friend of a previous client

From sleeping in a van to his own flat, it all came together as a result of prayer for the friend of a previous client Cath, our Next Stage Housing co-ordinator, had previously helped into accomodation.

'G' contacted us after a friend of his had been helped into housing by Manchester City Mission.

'G' had become homeless after a relationship breakdown and was living in his van. Talking through the various options that were open to him and where he would like to live, Cath remembered an over 50’s flat which was available on a ready to let basis in the area he wanted to live in. This had been mentioned to another client who didn’t want to live in that area. 'G' went for an interview and was offered the place.

He has now been given the keys and is in the process of getting furniture which we have been able to help him source.

The first time 'G' came into the centre he was offered prayer for his situation and he feels very blessed at the way this has unfolded in such a short space of time.
