Children want Groundbreakers to know that the online assemblies are making an impact!

The Groundbreakers team record an online assembly for every month of the year, these are then sent out to an extensive list of schools and made freely available on YouTube and FaceBook.

The online assemblies supplement the face-to-face assemblies that Mary and Debs take into schools each half-term. Some schools just use one type of assembly and some use both! We're also aware that children and families watch the videos for themselves. Here is some recent feedback that Groundbreakers has received.

"I was going to watch your new assembly this morning before I came to school but I didn't have enough time," said a little girl to Mary as she arrived for an assembly in an Oldham school the other day. Mary was amazed as the video assembly had only been sent out the night before so when she asked how the little girl knew it had been released she answered, "Oh, I'm a subscriber!!"

Another little girl in a different school told Debs that she watched the online assemblies with her Mum. A little boy in Reception last week, just as Mary was about to start the assembly piped up, "I love the latest episode about the handbag!", and only this morning, as Mary went into a school hall in Oldham to set up, a Year 6 girl came up to her and said, "I LOVE watching your assemblies, they make you think! We watch them on a Tuesday."

It is amazing to think that children and their families are being impacted by these online assemblies and that the opportunity is there to tell stories from the Bible that they otherwise may never hear.
