A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.
Take a look around the Food Club at Bridge Community Church in Radcliffe.
Proverbs 17:17 reads, "A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity."
The Bridge Community Church is living out that message of loving at all times and helping those facing adversity as it establishes friendships with members of the local community through its Nourish Food Club.
One of the volunteers recently filmed a walk-around video of the Food Club so we can see how they are set up.
They are really going from strength to strength and developing the Food Club and increasing their membership.
Paul, the project leader, is also delighted with a recent addition, he says;
"So our new double-fronted glass-door freezer was delivered today donated with kindness from Mr Paul Stone of Spar stores - it’s not new but lights up, works, and importantly will enable us to display our range of frozen goods in the best possible way - we’re starting to look more like a shop everyday!"

Here at Manchester City Mission we'd like to add our thanks to Paul Stone and Spar Stores for their generous support of the Food Club.
How can you be a friend who loves at all times, is there someone who needs that love today?
Could your church support those facing adversity in your community by opening a Nourish Food Club, Barry would love to hear from you if that's the case. You can contact Barry through the office on 0161 736 7959.
