Encouragement from the Alpha Course at HMP Buckley Hall

The Chaplains at HMP Buckley Hall in Rochdale are currently running an Alpha course.

This has been received with enthusiasm and it is evident from the demeanour and the conversations of those prisoners attending that they are not just coming down to the chapel to get off the wing for a couple of hours. Rather they have a genuine desire to know more about the Lord.

In recent weeks three prisoners have acknowledged Christ as their Saviour while attending. We thank God for this and give Him all the glory. Please pray that they go on to become firmly established in Him and find churches that will come alongside them and support them upon their release.
