Covid cancels Soul Children: Saddleworth choir launch

Debs and Mary from Groundbreakers were looking forward to launching Soul Children: Saddleworth choir yesterday, when Covid struck.

Debs had been working with Chip Kendal from Soul Children Uk and our friends at St Thomas' Delph church to have a fantastic launch party for the Soul Children: Saddleworth choir on Tuesday of this week. Unfortunately, a number of the people involved went down with Covid-19 and the launch of the choir has had to be delayed until Tuesday 1st March '22, the week after half-term.

On a more positive note, the number of children registered had doubled again and although we would like to see it increase even more, it's great to know that the children and families are ready for when the choir starts.
