Diary of a Disciple motivates class more than anything this term...

Mary and Debs from Groundbreakers visited a new school this week and the children loved the workshops.

On Tuesday 12th October Groundbreakers went to a school in Stockport to take two Diary of a Disciple workshops. These workshops last 90 minutes and are based around the book Diary of a Disciple: Luke's Story They are fast moving, fun and highly interactive. We had a fabulous time with both Year 4 classes and ALL the children were fully engaged throughout. They asked and answered questions and all put their hands up at the end of the sessions saying they had both enjoyed the workshops and learnt new things about the Bible. One of the teachers commented on just how motivated all her class were in a way she had not seen before. All the children took away a mini copy of the book and the class was left with a full copy for their library. It was a great day. If you want to find out more about these workshops email Groundbreakers on groundbreakers@manchestercitymission.org.uk
