Encouragement from the Alpha Course

The highlight of the Prison Governor's day!

The chaplains at Buckley Hall Prison received the following words of encouragement the other day, from one of our team members who had attended the prisons' morning briefing.

“Whilst at the morning briefing today, Governor Vicky Pryce gave her governor’s update and mentioned that yesterday she had been to chapel to give out the certificates for the Alpha course. She said that the men had really spoken of how it was not just a course, but a life changing thing for them, and she said it had been the highlight of her day.”

Praise God for the fact that the Governor recognizes and appreciates the work of chaplaincy!
