Experience Christmas… Experience Easter!

A local team in Saddleworth, supported by Groundbreakers usually puts on Experience workshops at Christmas, Easter and Pentecost for the local primary school. Each Experience lasts 90-minutes and comprises of six stations where the children hear each section of the story, make crafts, have the opportunity to reflect and go home with a bag of goodies like chocolate coins or Easter Eggs!! These days are always well received.

Christmas 2020 and Easter 2021, unperturbed by school closures, we decided to produce virtual Experiences! The children have had the same opportunities to hear the stories, make crafts, reflect and take home goodies, and the feedback has been great! Even better is the fact that because they have been virtual, more schools have been able to access the Experiences. In fact, one school in Oldham is having an Experience Easter Day with all 300 children experiencing the Easter story. What a result!!
