Groundbreakers are working with local Christians to enable primary school children to Experience Easter.

Having produced a virtual Experience Easter video last year when the team were unable to visit schools, it is great to be able to invite children to a face to face event this year.

During the 90 minute session, children will explore the Easter story visiting six different stations, including The Garden of Gethsemane where they create a shape or an object that reminds them of a time when they have felt lonely and The Last Supper where they share bread together.

At the final Resurrection station, the children think about how the empty tomb reminds those who follow Jesus of His promise that death is not the end but that Easter is a new beginning.

The children take home a chocolate egg, their crafts and hopefully, a deeper understanding of the events of Easter.
