Members of the homeless community often have access to social media and Paul took advantage of that over lock down.

Paul tells us about an encounter that started online.

I met J in Manchester recently for the first time, but it was as though we had known each other for years.

During lock down I started a social media account which is for people I meet when I am out on the streets. I must have come up as a friend suggestion on J's account and I saw that we had several mutual friends. It was evident that J was leading a life that was similar to those of people I meet in Manchester. I recognised J from her picture and approached her.

It was encouraging to hear from J on this first public encounter that her life was going in the right direction. I was able to say that I would be praying for her.
