Food Club in Pendleton flats

When we first started the Family FoodFayre Club at the Windsor Centre back in January we started with 8 new members.

On Wednesday at the flats, I was hoping for at least 10. On praying I felt the number was too small, so I believed for at least 15 new members. I informed my wife Janet who after I had left, prayed for at least one more. We received 16 new members. Also, two of our regular members came along to raise the total to 18.

There was a great buzz from the new members and we even had two people who came along from the flats who felt they wanted to donate for any others in more need, to be able to give them free visits.

Also noteworthy was the very real encouragement from the flats community managers, who have really got behind and helped the project, which is running fortnightly on Wednesdays.
