Nick receives positive feedback from report to funding partner The Willats Trust
Many funding trusts and grant making organisations request regular updates on the work they are supporting, in the case of Christian funders this enables them to pray in support of the work.
Having sent off his most recent report to The Willats Trust, Nick received this very encouraging reply.
Thank you, Nick, for your informative, engaging, and inspiring report. It was a very interesting to read. We at Willats much appreciate the care and thought you have given to what you wrote.
It was particularly interesting to read about the distressed young man who came to chapel, gave his heart to the Lord and has now found true peace, and also about the Alpha course development in another prison. Doing the chaplaincy rounds on the healthcare wing seems to be a valuable means of bringing peace to and sharing the gospel with these needy men. We trust that being available when deaths occur, and helping with ACCT reviews, will increasingly provide opportunities for openings with staff as you build your relationships with them. You have to cope with some very challenging situations, and in a far from comfortable workplace context. May you be greatly strengthened, know the Lord’s gracious affirmation of your sacrificial service for him, and full of his Agape love.
We are very grateful to The Willats Trust for their support of Nick and the On The Wing project.
Please pray for Nick and the valuable work that he is engaged in at our local prisons.
