Cleared to joined another prison chaplaincy team…

Nick Stirling, our "On The Wing" Prison Chaplain tells us he has just completed 4 days of training at HMP Forest Bank in Salford and is now cleared to work there also.

This is the third prison for which Nick has clearance. He is currently ministering in HMP Buckley Hall in Rochdale on Mondays, HMP Hindley in Wigan on Tuesdays and now he will be in HMP Forest Bank on Wednesdays.

The chaplains there are particularly keen on having someone minister to the vulnerable prisoners on a certain wing. They feel it would be good if Nick could focus specifically on them.

After discussion with the lead chaplain, Nick has been given the opportunity to run his "New Life Group" in Forest Bank. This gathering has been greatly appreciated by those attending it at the Windsor Christian Centre so please pray the same will be the case in the prison. This is an exciting time and we are expecting that the Lord will do great things.
