Free connectivity for Manchester City Mission clients!

Manchester City Mission projects have access to free connectivity for their clients thanks to the Vodafone charities.connected initiative.

The Vodafone initiative aims to tackle digital exclusion. Our projects are able to give clients who don't have access to the digital world a SIM card, that has 20GB of data a month, plus free calls and texts for six months.

We are very grateful to Vodafone for this support, so many people we work with struggle to make progress in all sorts of areas because they have to reply on pay-as-you-go phones which are forever running out of credit.

Emma Reynolds, Head of Communications, Sustainability and Regulatory Affairs at Vodafone UK said:

“We are committed to tackling digital exclusion. We hope that by providing free connectivity to Manchester City Mission and the other amazing charities across the UK who have such an enormous impact on their local communities, we can help create a more inclusive digital society. We urge any organisation who thinks they can benefit to apply online and look forward to hearing how this connectivity has helped.”

You can expect to hear how these SIM cards are making a difference in people's lives through our daily news articles and social media posts.
