Groundbreakers are getting ready, signing up schools, for next academic year...

There are no children in school for Groundbreakers to deliver assemblies, lunch clubs or workshops to, so as well as enjoying a well earned summer break, Mary has been getting schools signed up for next year.

Every school that Groundbreakers works with have to complete a formal agreement before the team can go into the school. It's quite a job for Mary, contacting every school and chasing up the agreements but is an important part of the ministry.

Once the agreements are back at the office and the term has started, Janet will be sending out a letter to inform the schools of the value of the work being undertaken by Mary and Debs. Manchester City Mission does not charge for Groundbreakers working in schools, but obviously, there is a cost and it is encouraging when schools &/or their local churches contribute towards this cost.

Mary has been encouraged by a new school wanting face-to-face work having previously been using the online assemblies.
