It was a happy day for Operation Joy…

Ryan who serves in our Operation Joy project works very hard trying to get funding for his project from funders.

A lot of the time he has no results as this is one of the hardest parts of the job and is very time-consuming.

This week we had good news. After a lot of preparation and then time spent waiting for the outcome, Ryan got the news he had been waiting for the Garfield and Weston Foundation have awarded us £5000 towards salaries for the Operation Joy project. This is an amazing achievement.

Here’s what Ryan said, “I would just like to say a big thank you for the help I had preparing the funding bid, and a big thank you to our Janet, our finance manager, for helping with various documentation that was required. Last but not least a big thank you to Garfield and Weston foundation for partnering with us.”
