Hearing about Manchester City Mission

Our Operations Support Co-ordinator, Dave, visited long term supporters of MCM Glenbrook Chapel yesterday.

Dave was invited to give a short talk at the end of the regular coffee morning at Glenbrook Chapel yesterday. Although Dave has preached at Glenbrook in the past when Mary his wife, who leads Groundbreakers, takes all-age services, this is the first time Dave has spoken specifically on behalf of MCM.

Around twenty people were at the coffee morning and Dave spoke about the wide range of the missions work, some of those present were not aware that the Narrowgate Night Shelter had been shut down due to the Covid-19 restrictions right at the start of the pandemic.

He then shared from John 1:9-12, that Jesus came as the light of the world, incarnation is at the heart of Manchester City Missions vision for all our work. Some present were promoted by God to give a gift towards His work through MCM.

If you would like to hear more of the work of Manchester City Mission as church life returns to a more face to face experience, please contact Janet on 0161 739 7959 or email her at ManCitMis@aol.com to discuss plans.
