She gave her heart to the Lord.

Ryan who serves in our Operation Joy project and also is our resident Evangelist here at our Salford building on Monday and Thursday, had great news last week.

Ryan has been building trust and relationships with the people of Salford city and on many occasions, Ryan has shared his life story, and helped people through our various projects. There have been many times when Ryan has had the opportunity to share Jesus and as a result people have given their hearts to the Lord. This week one of those opportunities came up when Ryan was helping a lady with an Acts435 funding.

Ryan was sharing his testimony with this lady when she said "Would that God do for me what he has done for you?" Ryan said “Yes”. Ryan then began to take her to scriptures (Romans 10:9) that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Ryan also took her to (Acts 2:38) that if you repent you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The lady asked if she could receive this gift. Ryan replied “of course you can”. Ryan then led her in a prayer of repentance, then prayed for her to be filled with the Holy Spirit. As you can imagine it was a very emotional experience for this lady.

Ryan is now searching local churches to find a suitable one for her. Ryan will continue to support this lady through our various projects.
