Groundbreakers online assemblies reach places other assemblies can’t touch…
Mary and Debs have produced ten online assemblies over this academic year to supplement the six face to face assemblies that restarted in September 2021.
This year’s assemblies have looked at some of the attributes of God, covering attributes such as God is… Infinite, 3-in-1, Father, Son, Spirit, Just, Faithful and Everywhere!
While making her way into Wythenshawe Park to support our Soul Children Saddleworth choir singing at Festival Manchester, Mary was stopped by a steward who recognised her.
Mary had met the lady a couple of times at a Manchester Diocese meeting prior to lock down and then in online meetings. A teacher in a school in Stockport the lady co-ordinates RE teachers in that borough. She introduced her friend to Mary by saying, “This is Mary who does the fabulous online assemblies.”
Mary had no idea that the assemblies were being used in this ladies school!
