"I had the best night's sleep..."

Last week Ryan, who serves in our Operation Joy project, made a successful referral for accommodation for one of his clients.

P was in need of being resettled when he first came to Operation Joy and has been working with Ryan for a number of weeks. Last week Ryan referred him to Homes of Hope, whose mission is to offer a home and friendship to vulnerable and excluded people. We are continuing to support P as much as we can.

Ryan checked in with P just to see how he was, this was his response...

“Hi Ryan, yeah things are brilliant, I get on with the two guys that I am sharing with, and they are really helpful, there has been a new guy come into the project who I know, I feel really at home. Last night I had the best night's sleep in a long time, I feel that this is really going to work out for me, so a big thank you for your support and all you have done for me”

He has started on a new journey, and at Manchester City Mission we believe in standing with the person, supporting them, and equipping them to move forward with their life. Ryan will be there, a practical expression of God's love, for P.
