I was lost but now I’m found…

Ryan who serves in our Operation Joy project was overjoyed this week when he went to visit an old friend.

Vance used the Operation Joy project over 12 months ago to access Be-Strong rehabilitation, where he was baptised. He then moved on to Homes of Hope and was doing really well. Sadly 6 months ago he fell back to his old ways.

Ryan continued to support him through the Oldham Operation Joy Drop-In. Vance would regularly turn up to access support with food, clothes and stay to hear the Gospel.

Ryan said “Vance has been for me one of those who God has put on my heart to continuously pray for and to be someone Vance could call any time.”

3 months ago Vance told Ryan he had another chance at recovery and that this was make or break.

Ryan went to visit him last week and he is doing really well. He has been clean for 8 weeks now and is going from strength to strength.

This is a real answer to prayer for us here at Manchester City Mission.

Please keep Vance in your prayers and we will keep you updated with Vance’s progress.
