It all adds up.

Projects, Operation Joy and Restart, recently made a successful funding bid that covered a proportion of their salaries.

Given that working with the vulnerable and those experiencing homelessness is hardly glamourous, fundraising is the least glamorous element of the role for all our project staff. So it brought a smile to the faces of the Operation Joy and Restart teams when they heard that their funding bid to the One Oldham Fund, through Action Together, had been successful. All charities find that they get far more rejections than successes so this was a great encouragement to us all.

We are grateful for the advice and support from Action Together and we are very grateful that the application was successful.
