It simply isn't that easy for some people to walk into a church service...
One of the women Restart work with attended the Festival Manchester banquet held at St Philip's church...
Later that weekend she was in a bad way and called a Restart team member on the phone. She was saying she wanted to go to church and that she wanted God in her life.
The Restart team member picked her up to take her to church. Unfortunately, the woman had a panic attack as they reached the church door and felt she couldn’t go in. She she felt so ashamed she cried and became very emotional. The team member managed to calm her down and took her back home. She encouraged the lady telling her she’d done really well to even get that far, and shared how Jesus loves her and died for her.
The team member prayed for her and she’s going to come to one of the Restart Drop-Ins and Bible study times.
They'll take little steps and she’ll try again.
The woman has multiple problems and the Restart team simply asks that you for her.
