It's growing...

They started with 13 last week and this week...

18 very excited and enthusiastic children turned up for week 2 of Soul Children, the new choir that has started for Year 5 and 6 children in Saddleworth every Tuesday night. The evening started with some games on the theme of mirroring and then Debs led a high energy song and dance session which the kids got really stuck into and sounded great. They finished with a time thinking about what it means to "Glorify God", the first value of Soul Children. Mary talked about how God made us in His image to enjoy a relationship with him and to reveal what He is like to other people through the way that we live, and, especially at Soul Children, the way we sing and act with each other.

I wonder how many they will get next week as the word spreads...
