Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.

The observations of visitors and others to our Nourish Food Banks can be illuminating.

A recent visitor emailed Barry after a visit and wrote;

"Firstly, thanks so much for allowing us to join you all yesterday. It was lovely to meet you and fantastic to see the amazing work you are doing. As I keep saying to everyone I’ve spoken to since, you literally are saving lives! Not with just the food side of things but the relationships you’ve made with the people who came in; you knew them all by first name and took the time to talk to them. They all left with a smile on their faces. What an amazing thing you are all doing. It sounds a fundamental thing, to have a conversation with people, but I worry how often it doesn’t happen nowadays and there are few things more valuable."

In the Bible we read that God calls us by name. The least we can try and do is get to know our clients by name and ensure they know they are valued and loved by God.
