Nick launches especially developed New Life course at HMP Buckley Hall

Nick is always looking out for ways in which he can share the Gospel in the prisons in which he works. He tells us here about a new course he has developed.

Today saw the launch of the New Life Course I have recently developed. This is a clear and simple four-week course introducing people to Christianity. This week (May 15th) we had 14 prisoners in attendance. We shared about the problem of sin separating us from our Creator God and how He addressed this by sending His only begotten Son, Jesus. We spoke of how we must recognize our need of Him as Saviour and turn to Him for salvation.

During the session, we also shared testimonies and songs. We had a break for coffee and biscuits halfway through then finished with a time of discussion and questions. The response and the feedback were very encouraging. However, because of Bank Holidays, we have had to reduce the course from four weeks to two, and this has presented something of a challenge. Having said that everything seemed to work out with the guys saying how much they enjoyed it.
