Set an alarm! The new Nourish Food Club opens on 1st October!

Barry has been hard at work networking across the city and it’s all to ensure that as many people as possible across the whole of Greater Manchester can benefit from having a Nourish Family Food Fayre Food Club that they can access.

Saturday 1st October ‘22 will see the opening of the latest Food Club.

The Food Club will be at Oldham Bethel Church opposite Woodstock Street on Waterloo Street, Oldham. You may have heard of Oldham Bethel Church on these pages before, that’s because they host Operation Joy’s Oldham Drop-In on a Friday.

The Food Club will initially be open once a month, and will operate along similar lines to all the Nourish Food Clubs with a small annual membership subscription and then a minimal charge for a basket of food that the member chooses from the shelves.

If you would like to find out more about how you can support this Food Club by keeping the shelves full, contact Barry Matley by email (Barry@ManchesterCityMission.org.uk).

The partnership that is developing with Oldham Bethel Church is a really blessing and we would love to work closely with other churches across the city. If you would like to discuss Food Clubs or any of MCM’s projects you are more than welcome to ring the office on 0161 736 7959 where Dave or Janet will put you in touch with the project leader.
