Just one Prayer can make a difference…
Ryan who is our resident Evangelist in the Nourish food project got a message this week to say how grateful one of our customers was for helping their partner.
Ryan tells the story.
A few months ago a lady that uses the food club came to us as she was going through a life-changing situation. She gave her heart to the Lord and is still growing in her Faith today, glory to Jesus Christ.
This week the same lady fetched a friend to us that is struggling with anxiety, and depression. This person was saying that they were confused. I said we could have a chat and just talk through some of the issues that were going on. After talking for a while, I was prompted to pray for her, so I did and after I finished they said that they felt different, like things were going to be ok.
At Manchester City Mission we meet people at their point of need, whether that be a practical or spiritual need, or just a friendly chat.
