One reaps another sows

God used colleagues, Ryan (Operation Joy) and Michelle (Restart), to bring ‘G’, a client of Michelle’s, to a place of repentance and trusting in Jesus.

‘G’ had been attending the Alpha group that Michelle had been running for a number of weeks. Michelle had spent a lot of time with ‘G’ and spoken to her on a number of occasions about what it means to have a relationship with Jesus.

‘G’ had arrived to find Michelle when she was in a meeting with Ryan. They sat together talking about the struggles of life and how traumatic experiences can impact on our sense of wellbeing. As Ryan shared from Proverbs 4:23 and Psalm 51:10, ‘G’ was able to understand that the Bible speaks right into our lives today.

As the three of them spoke about these matters ‘G’ said “I would like to know God for myself”. Ryan and Michelle ensured ‘G’ understood the need for repentance, the Parable of the Prodigal Son makes this so understandable, and what it means to choose to follow Jesus. ‘G’ choose to repent and follow Jesus.

Michelle will continue to offer ‘G’ support as she sets out on her new journey. She will help her find a church and connect her to the other agencies as she needs.
