“It really touched my heart…”
Ryan who serves in our Operation Joy project was asked if he would like to give his testimony in one of the prisons in Rochdale.
Nick Sterling our Chaplain is currently involved with this prison, so it was a surprise when he received Ryan’s card on his desk.
Ryan was out a few months ago doing a deputation at a church in Oldham when he was approached by a lady who said “Would you like to come and speak at HMP Buckley Hall? Ryan said that he would love too. A few weeks later Ryan received a phone call from Nick to arrange a time and date. This week Ryan paid a visit to the prison to share his testimony and a message of hope. The inmates that attended the meeting where very encouraged and gave great feedback to Ryan. One guy said “It really touched my heart, your story is very powerful.” The same gentleman made a recommitment that day. Full glory to God.
This was new ground for Ryan, going into prisons and it was truly a God incident. We will keep you updated of any more visits to the prisons from Ryan.
