Paul Stayed Late; His Train Was Cancelled…

But Then…

Paul varies his times for a shift in Manchester so that there is a variety of contacts and conversations. This week he planned to stay out until later than normal and arrived at Piccadilly station only to find that the next two trains to Bolton were cancelled. That meant staying an extra hour so he made his way back to Piccadilly Gardens. There he encountered F who was initially acting quite unpredictably; soon, though she seemed to settle down and Paul asked if F would like to be prayed for. She accepted the offer and remained quiet throughout.

Soon after Paul came across C who had been sitting in the Gardens most of the afternoon. She shared with Paul that she no accommodation for the night having been evicted from a hostel. Also she could not make outgoing calls on her phone. Paul used his phone to call the 24-hour service and soon there was a plan in place for C. So because of some cancelled trains Paul was able to give some spiritual and practical help in that extra hour.

Please pray with us for the street population of Manchester.
