I found J in Bolton hungry and feeling stressed. She allowed me to pray with her and I particularly asked that God would meet her need for that day. Very soon another Christian had come and offered J a tract; he joined in the conversation and it became apparent that there were similarities between J's path and his own life. He decided that he should also pray with her and did so intently for several minutes, including a prayer of recommitment.

I believe that bringing in another Christian with a similar life experience was an important element of how this encounter developed.
