"I don't want to miss your assembly!!", exclaimed the busy teacher!

On Friday, Mary was sitting in a school hall in Oldham, waiting for the children to arrive for assembly. A member of staff came through the hall and saw her sitting there and said, "Awww... It's my PPA time (Planning, Preparation and Assessment time, a sacred time for teachers!!!) but I almost wish it wasn't. I don't want to miss your assembly!!"

Mary said that she would take that as a compliment and he said, "You should!!"

How good to hear that the staff look forward to Groundbreakers going into school too and obviously enjoy the assemblies.

At a time when many teachers are stressed and are leaving the profession because of the almost impossible demands expected of them, it is great that Groundbreakers can serve the teachers as well as the children. Reminding them that God knows exactly how they feel!
