"He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners ..."

Nick, from On the Wing, visits HMP Hindley every week, he had been asked to take the Bible Study as the head Chaplain was on leave.

Nick tells us that the Bible study in HMP Hindley went very well.

Four guys attended and were really engaged. The staff on their wing did not know that the study was on because the full-time chaplain was on holiday, but they spoke to an officer saying that it was still on, and that they really wanted to come. She then eventually brought them down to the chapel. Nick asks for prayer for these young men. They have a fair knowledge and understanding of Scripture and seem to be sincere in their desire to turn their lives' around and walk with the Lord.

Nick also spoke earlier in the day with a young man, C, who asked him what Christianity was all about. Nick then spent twenty minutes with him and explained who Jesus is, why He came, and how to become a Christian. He expressed a desire to start coming to the chapel and Nick left him with a Bible and a New Life booklet. Please pray for C to come through to full salvation.
