What's the Ukrainian for, "You're so efficient, could you start a little later!"?

What a great problem to have, and what we have done without online translation apps on our mobile phones!

It has been a great encouragement to welcome Nikkolai and Victoria, our Ukrainian family that Cath, our Next Stage Housing Co-ordinator, has help house, to help volunteer on a Thursday afternoon at the Nourish Food Club at St Thomas' Pendleton. They help us pack up after they return from the school run, this is really helpful as it takes a load off the volunteers who set up and run the Food Club.

Armed with Google translate they have soon picked up what needs doing. Only problem we have found is that we have had to ask them to come in slightly later as they are so quick and efficient!

Perhaps you could volunteer at a Food Club, or one of our other projects. The Team is always on the look out for people and, as you can see from this story, you might be able to volunteer for a specific role that helps take the pressure off others. Why not take a look at the work of all our projects on our website, if you want to offer to help please contact the office on 0161 736 7959 or email mancitmis@aol.com.
