Social media contact, Good News in the pandemic

The pandemic has placed limitations on street ministry, and the use of social media has been vital in maintaining a relationship with our Operation Joy contacts.

Some social media contacts have accepted friend requests several months after initially asking.

Paul met “J” several times near Victoria station over a period of a couple of years leading up to lockdown. He noticed that she contributed to a particular social media page and sent her a friend request. Once “J” accepted the request he was able to see the progress that she was making with her life and coupled with that was a spiritual awakening. Towards the end of 2020 “J” posted that she had ‘let God into her heart’.
