Operation Joy's Oldham Drop-In secures funding for the immeadiate future...

As a charity all Manchester City Mission's activities are dependent on God laying our needs on the hearts of His people, and successful bids for grants and awards.

Ryan, who serves in our Oldham Operation Joy Drop-in, had great news last week when he was successful in securing funds for rent for another 12 months, food for the clients and also some towards salaries.

This means we will be able to continue this effective work that we have been doing in the town centre.

Those people that are experiencing homelessness and all the associated issues will be able to continue to come on Fridays to Bethel Church, have something to eat, hear the good news of Jesus Christ and share their problems.

Ryan shared the good news about the funding with Pastor Steve Kneale from the church and he was very pleased to know that we will be continuing the work for the foreseeable future. We want to say a very big thank you to the funders who are making this possible.
