The Food Club - Bury makes an impression

The Food Club - Bury, open on 26th November '21 and making such an impression that recent visitors want to see it in their borough!

Barry, Project Leader for Nourish says, "I lead the Food Club - Bury project and, after a slow start, it is going really well now with over 45 members."

The team of volunteers Barry works with are really encouraging and committed to the Food Club. They say it is "running like a well-oiled machine."

Visitors from a different borough of Greater Manchester came last week to sort out a members food after he had paid upfront and then was supported in a move across to their borough. They were really impressed with the principles and outworking of the Food Club. So much so, they were desperate to see if one could be set up in their area!
