They prayed together and she shared how much she is loving her Bible...
For the past couple of months our Restart project leader has been working with a young Asian woman who has been referred to her by Social Services due to her vulnerability.
During the time Restart has been working with her she has shown an interest in coming to the weekly Drop-In and also to a 'connect group' where the Restart team share their faith with other women in a coffee shop.
Last week when the young woman came to the Restart Drop-In she said that she had received a message on her phone from another Asian woman telling her to read a chapter in Mathew's Gospel. The message gave the chapter and verse to read. She had looked up the passage and said how as she had read it confirmed to her that she is on the right track in her searching for the truth.
She was absolutely blown away with it!
They prayed together and she shared how she is loving her Bible. The team leader is meeting her again for one-to-one sessions, she has joined the girl's prayer group and has asked the group to pray for her.
In a multi-disciplinary core group meeting this week she openly asked if she could change an appointment with the health visitor so she can come to her faith group on Wednesday with Restart.
Please will you pray that this young woman comes to faith in Jesus, pray too for her protection.
