Ryan left 30 ladies knitting hats and scarves for the homeless community...

Ryan who serves in our Operation Joy project, is often out doing deputation visits to churches in various boroughs all over Greater Manchester, telling people what God is doing through Manchester City Mission.

Last week Ryan was at Uppermill Methodist Church in Saddleworth, at a group called Thursday friends. He had a warm welcome from the thirty or so senior ladies that were there. The ladies were encouraged by what Ryan was telling them about the work of Manchester City Mission. was doing, and how God is moving with power through our nine projects.

At Manchester City Mission we never ask individuals or churches for money, nevertheless, we have found over the decades that God’s faithfulness is very often seen in the generosity of his people, and on this occasion, we saw that to be true when the organisers made a nice cash donation to Operation Joy. Not only that but the Thursday Friends have said they will knit hats and scarfs for the homeless community, as they are always in demand around the winter period.

Manchester City Mission are very grateful for all donations, whether that be time, prayers, money, or items for people in need.

We would like to give a big thank you to all our supporters.
