Operation Joy, and all MCM projects, rely on the three-fold contribution of our supporters; prayer, volunteering and financial. This enables Operation Joy to run Drop-ins in Oldham and Ashton each week, God is most certainly at work through the Drop-ins.

Ryan who serves in our Operation Joy Oldham project received great news last week, when the Islamic man who gave his life to Christ told us that he received healing also.

Ryan tells the story.

A couple of weeks ago a man with Islamic beliefs walked into the Drop-in and we proclaimed the Gospel to him and he surrendered his life to Christ. We then arranged for him to start coming to the Sunday service at Bethel Church, where we have the Drop-in on Fridays. He received a Bible from the Pastor there and has fitted right into the church family.

Last week when he came to the Drop-in for our Friday session he told us that when we prayed for him to be filled with the Holy Spirit he received healing in his shoulder. This injury has been something he has been living with for a long time but God healed him and this man is now pain-free.
