Very encouraging feedback for our On The Wing prison ministry at Buckley Hall Rochdale

Our prison chaplain Nick Stirling shares some feedback from the prisoners who attended the recent Living With Loss course at HMP Buckley Hall. Nick says...

Upon completion of the latest Living With Loss course held here, we asked the attendees for some feedback.

Here are some of the comments that came back.

“The course was well delivered and I found it helpful to face the bad things that have happened to me.”

“It was good to be able to meet other people who had been through difficult stuff and talk it through.”

“I found it very good especially the Whirlpool of Grief diagram.” *

“I liked being able to talk with the chaplains about things.”

“It was interesting to hear how Christians cope with loss and difficult times”

The nine guys who attended have now agreed to come to three weeks of follow-up sessions looking at Christianity in more depth.

Please pray that we will be able to build upon this.

Also, I personally feel I am getting known among the prisoners a little better and establishing some on-going relationships.
