A visit to the Operation Joy Drop-In

Cath, our Next Stage Housing co-ordinator, regularly receives referrals from Operation Joy, last week Cath visited the Drop-In for herself.

Cath visited the Operation Joy Drop-In in Oldham in order to meet with one of Ryan’s clients and to see what help she could offer with regards to his budgeting. "Follow on support" forms an integral part of our work with move on housing as we want to help each client make a success of the opportunities that they have been given for a new start.

Following a brief discussion, Cath was able to give him the next steps to take as well as discussing what help might be available to him. Cath will contact him in the next week to check where he is up to with this and to help him set a budget going forward.
