The winter months are not the easiest of times for street outreach!

Unperturbed, Paul Winter from our Operation Joy team, is still on the outlook for the street population to speak with.

Paul says;

As I passed a bag of food to one of the men sat begging in Bolton a lady talking to him recognised me. It turned out to be A who I hadn't seen for about three years.

She had transformed in that time from someone struggling with addiction into somebody doing really well.

I was able to contact her on social media within a couple of hours and A messaged me saying that she appreciated all the help given when she was on the streets.

I replied saying it was encouraging to see how far she'd come and said I would be praying for her.

A replied with a 'Thank-you'.

How encouraging!

Our prayers for the Operation Joy team are so important, if you wish to receive regular prayer updates, please contact the office on 0161 736 7959.
