Paul Winter

Paul is the Project Leader of Operation Joy, bringing over two decades of outreach experience to MCM.

His role is to build relationships founded on trust with the street population, including homeless people and those suffering from addictions. He has expanded his reach to the Roma community, where he focuses on family tracing.

Paul founded Operation Joy out of a desire to see the street population reunited with their loved ones. After working with the London City Mission for over 21 years, he has used his skills to help homeless people get important identification documents such as birth certificates, which is often required to get accommodation.

In his ministry, Paul is encouraged to see how grateful people are in the homeless community and the Roma community when they are remembered and valued in a very simple way. Not only that, but it is amazing to see how God is working in the lives of those he meets in central Manchester.
